Synopsis
L se retrouve confronté à une nouvelle affaire. Death God, une personne qui détient une arme terrifiante, fait des déclarations similaires à celles de Kira : "Je vais changer le monde". Deux enfants, un garçon et une fille, détiennent la clé du mystère. Mais pour les protéger, L doit employer des moyens désespérés. Pour la première fois, il ne peut plus se reposer sur ses seules capacités intellectuelles ni sur l'aide de Watari, mort pendant l'affrontement contre Kira. L va devoir montrer son visage au grand jour.
